Project of fast Backbone Link between National Academic Networks of Romania and Moldova
Moldova is one of last European countries that had started to build own National Research and Educational Network (NREN), to perform joint networking projects and to plan to establish academic connectivity with similar communities from neighbor countries (RoEduNet from Romania, URAN from Ukraine, ULAKBIM from Turkey), with trans-European (TERENA, GEANT), Balkan, Black Sea (BSUN), Mediterranean and other regional and global networked communities.
